Tylers Green and Loudwater
Clive Harriss
Clive Harriss moved to Hazlemere in the Autumn of 2005 from North
West London.
By profession, Clive is a Commercial Property Consultant specialising In
the Industrial and Office Markets. Previously, he was an outer London
Borough Councillor and so comes well equipped with the knowledge
and understanding of the importance of protecting the Green Belt and
the need to resist Urban Sprawl. Clive believes that it is essential to
preserve the character and street scene of Buckinghamshire’s local
villages and communities, which enticed him to move into the area,
whilst satisfying the thirst for new housing.
Clive is a keen cyclist and plays rugby socially for Wasps. He is
interested in sport and the benefits to the community of policies
governing sport and the provision of good local recreational facilities.
He has a young daughter, whom he naturally wishes to see enjoy her
childhood and gain from the safety of the local neighbourhoods and
quality of the local environment, local schools and nurseries. He has
therefore a keen personal interest in ensuring that the high standards
attained in the area are not only maintained but improved wherever
possible.

be run as efficiently as any major company in the private sector. He has
been actively working for the local community since 1975 and still found
time to serve 12 years in the Reserve Forces.
He has served many years as a Governor of First, Middle and Special

Dial-a-Ride Service for the elderly and disabled and has also been a
Director of the Thames Valley Economic partnership set up by industry
and Local Authorities to bring new jobs and investment into our area.

charity and runs the rescue cattery in Hammersley Lane.

Katrina was elected to the District Council last year, and has lived in
Tylers Green for over 20 years. She is an Analyst with a major national
bank
Katrina has been actively involved in the local community for many years
through the Penn & Tylers Green Residents Society, and has assisted with
many local fund raising events. She has been a member of the Village Pre-
School Management Committee in Tylers Green for several years and
Chairman for the last two.
Katrina is very keen to protect, preserve and enhance the local
environment in Tylers Green and Loudwater and successfully lobbied the
Council to provide more re-cycling bins in Cock Lane to improve the area,
resulting in extra bins being added just before Christmas. She helped the
Tylers Green Middle School with their environmental centre by donating
her ward funds to their appeal. Katrina also attends meetings of the
Loudwater Residents Forum and the Parish Council to ensure she is aware
of current local matters in both villages.
