Oakridge & Castlefield
Mohammed Yasin
I have lived in Castlefield for 35 years, and have been involved in politics from an early age. I work within the NHS.
I have been a position of responsibility as Chairman and Vice Chairman of many local and national organisations including KACG.
I have also been involved in voluntary and social work, assisting people of deprived backgrounds.
I have a family of four children, two girls and two boys, and am aware of local issues. For this reason I have decided to stand again as a councillor in the District Elections in May, so that the local people of Oakridge and Castlefield can truly feel represented.

I have lived in Castlefield almost all of my life, and my family have also lived on the estate since it was built.
I was educated at the local Castlefield Combined School and Cressex Secondary School.
I have four children and three grandchildren. Two of my sons work locally and one works abroad as a football coach. My daughter is a care assistant for the elderly.
I have now worked as your Councillor for four years.
I have been very active on many Wycombe District Council committees, and have worked alongside local groups on the estate. I also have the duty of Charter Trustee.
I would like to continue to serve Oakridge and Castlefield as a Councillor, and I feel I have made a useful contribution both to the area and the Council.
I will continue to represent you and uphold the concerns of the Oakridge and Castlefield residents.

Muhammad Karim
I have been working as an engineer for Jarvis Engineering in High Wycombe since 1987. I am married with children of school age, and actively participates in the local community activities. I was born in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, and came to England after completing my higher education. I am a former general secretary of Wycombe Mosquem, and have also been a reporter for the international paper The Daily Jang.
For the last four years I have served as a councillor for Oakridge and Castlefield, and worked closely with the police to reduce crime and particularly the fear of crime.
I have also served as a member on the improvement and review commission, and worked extremely hard on behalf of the community to improve services including the Eden town centre development project.
As a governor of Oakridge School, I take a keen interest in local education. My other interests are protection of the environment and the prevention of crime. I enjoy helping people, and if elected, will work closely with the community to eliminate crime and fear of crime. I also promise to work towards improving and creating new recreational and leisure facilities for the youth of the town.
