Doug Anson MBE
Doug Anson is a local man through and through. Born
and educated in Marlow, he married Janice, a Marlow
girl, and has one daughter and two grand daughters,
who also live locally.
Doug has been Chairman of Wycombe District Council in
2005-06, Town Mayor of Marlow twice and elected to
represent Marlow as a Bucks County Councillor in 2005.
His experience in the various Councils includes
Chairman of Planning for Marlow Town and Chairman of
Planning for Wycombe District Council.
Over 20 years of charity work for children and the
elderly were recognised in 1998 by the awarding of the
MBE. Doug has been appointed an Ambassador for the
County of Buckinghamshire and has been actively
involved in local schools as a Governor at Holy Trinity
and at Foxes Piece.
With 15 years experience representing the people of
Marlow, Doug takes great pride in this honour and
pledges to use his experience, local knowledge and
enthusiasm to continue this role with your support in his
re-election.

Neil Marshall
Neil was raised and educated in the North East of
England. He and his family have lived in the Marlow area
for the past 30 years, both of his children having
attended local schools.
His professional background is in aviation and currently
balances retirement with running a Bed and Breakfast
business.
Since being elected to Marlow Town Council in 1998 he
has been active on a number of committees, having
been vice-Chairman of the Planning Committee for the
past 4 years and Deputy Town Mayor in 2006 - 07. Neil
was involved in establishing the Town Regatta and
Festival and is an active member of the Town Forum,
Health Check steering committee and a Governor of
Spinfield School.
