David Cox
David was born in High Wycombe, educated at theRoyal Grammar School and, after attending college, taught in many schools in the Wycombe District. He retired from The Park County Middle School, situated in the centre of the Park Estate after being the Headmaster there for 23 years. It was the second largest school in the Wycombe District with, at one time 550 pupils. It is now called The Cedar Park.
David joined the Hazlemere Parish when it was formed and, during the following 20 years, was the Chairman for nine years. In 1990 he was elected to the Wycombe District Council, and became Chairman in 2000. With this experience he is aware of the problems that face those living in the village and the district as a whole. David would like to be re-elected on the 3rd May 2007 to continue in his endeavours to help make Hazlemere a pleasant place in which all can live and enjoy the special character of Hazlemere, and improve the facilities of the district of High Wycombe as a whole.
