John Savage

John has lived in Flackwell Heath for the last 23 years with his wife Pat & family. John retired early from a career as sales & commercial Director of a major international company, since then, he has served as a Parish councillor for Flackwell Heath Ward on Chepping Wycombe Parish Council.

In 1999 he was elected to Wycombe District Council Representing Flackwell Heath & in 2003 elected to represent the new ward of Flackwell Heath & Little Marlow.

John serves on a number of committees, Regulatory & Appeals & Improvement & review. He represents the Council on Tourism South East & the National Local Government Association Rural Forum.

This year John is Vice Chairman of Wycombe District Council.

Bill Jennings

Bill Jennings is a long standing resident of Abbotsbrook in Well End and has represented first Little Marlow Ward, then the combined ward of Flackwell Heath and Little Marlow.

Bill is one of the longest serving Councillors on Wycombe District Council and one of the most senior, having held high office on virtually every committee of the Council. He was Chairman of the District Council in 2003. He is currently serving in the Council Cabinet responsible for Finance.

If re-elected, he will continue to give special emphasis to the gravel pits, sewage work and development issues which plague the Little Marlow area as well as trying to find solutions to the speeding traffic. The protection of the Green Belt around the villages surrounding Wycombe remains a very high priority.

Julia Langley

I moved into Buckinghamshire in 1979, primarily to obtain a better standard of education for my son.

My interests are varied: Interior Design/ Travel/ Antiques/ Sport (all) /Garden Design /Animals.

1991My involvement with Local Government began in 1991, when I joined Wooburn Parish Council.
May 1999I was elected along with John Savage to represent Flackwell Heath Ward.
May 2003Boundary Changes resulted in Flackwell Heath and Little Marlow being Combined and I was re-elected to the District Council.

I have held senior posts at Parish and District which have given me a wide experience of the demands of Local Government. I am currently Vice Chairman of the Development Control Committee and also serve on Improvement & Review, and Youth Committees.
