Darren Hayday

Darren Hayday is aged 32, and has lived the majority of his life in both Booker and Cressex. He attended both Chepping View and Cressex School.

For the last four years he has had the honour of serving as your local Councillor, and asks that you trust in him to serve for another term of office.

As a married businessman, living in Wycombe, he feels that he has a lot to offer you and hopes to have developed a reputation in delivering results in the local area and being true to his word in getting problems fixed.

Being the Mayor of High Wycombe has given him the added experience and skills that enhance his abilities as an effective councillor.

Knowing the area extremely well, he will fight hard looking after the best interests of the ward.

Val Razzaq

Val Razzaq

Val is the wife of our late councillor and once mayor of High Wycombe, Mohammed Razzaq. She lives in High Wycombe and has three sons and four grandchildren. She was born and brought up in Wycombe. Her education was at Sands First School as well as Mill End Rd Secondary Modern for girls, now called Millbrook Combined School.

Val is an experienced councillor. She has served on Wycombe District Council for the last four years, becoming involved in many council and community committees. At the moment Val serves as a link member for the Sports Centre at Handy Cross, the town committee, and is also a Charter Trustee. During her office as Mayoress of High Wycombe, Val helped raise funds of £6,000 for the diagnostic console for the scanner for Wycombe Hospital.

She cares a great deal about the district and the environment and quality of life for the people she represents. She is always prepared to listen and work with local groups to improve and enhance the Booker and Cressex area.

Val’s interests are archaeology, architecture, sports and gardening.

She hopes to meet you in person during the course of her election.
