11 Good reasons to vote for David Devine on the 3rd of May

  1. Rider-on-Call – being involved from the beginning to ensure that when scheduled bus services disappeared that an alternative was in place for those who did not have their own transport. When Rideron- Call itself finishes in April, David will work to secure replacement bus services.
  2. Light under the Railway bridge on Slough Lane, Saunderton, David raised the funds from several sources to enable this to become a reality after many residents had requested it.
  3. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – David is immensely proud to have such a prestigious National Charity headquarted in his ward and in all communications lends them space to freely advertise.
  4. Meadow Stiles Playground – worked with parents to ensure some additional funding and get Wycombe District Council to provide bins that would also be emptied.
  5. Bledlow Children’s Home – took on board residents concerns on the highway issues to ensure there will be an appropriate solution found when this is eventually resolved.
  6. Crownfield Residents: fought hard to have an inconsiderate firm removed from the area that was spraying chemicals and paints that was affecting the quality of residents lives.
  7. Deanfield – fought with residents to have an Article 4 order put on the Rural Land Scams that have been popping up all over the Country.
  8. Saunderton Station. David has worked like a Trojan on this project being the catalyst to having the Edwardian Waiting Room restored, and raising the funds with which to do it, whilst also working with commuters constantly battling with the rail planners to ensure Saunderton retains a decent rail service.
  9. Numerous local organisations have benefited from the WDC community fund initiative suggested by David after he was elected.
  10. Polling Stations. David has liaised with the Electoral Services department to bring back a Polling Station in Bradenham (Cricket Pavillion) and for the 1st time ever have one in Saunderton (at the Hearing Dog Centre).
  11. Council Tax - with Conservative colleagues on Wycombe District Council kept down the Council Tax rise to at or below inflation.
